This isn't looking good. To get to Atlanta from here on Amtrak is pretty much a day-long event, what with having to go to DC first and layover and whatnot. To drive direct is 11.5 hours each way. Better, but not wonderful when you consider I'd be driving alone and only getting one night between there and back.
