Attention Kenyonites:
According to the November 18 Fortnightly (PDF) the college is planning to remove a tree to make room for a new set of sculptures donated by Graham Gund. The thing is, this tree was actually a gift from the Class of 1990, and to be honest, I'm more than a little ticked that it's apparently so expendable.
Anyhow, if you feel the same way, send email to provost Greg Spaid, acting president Ron Sharp, and while you're at it VP for development Kimberlee Klesner and let them know. But please do it fast - it sounds like the tree is set to come down over break!
