Nearly a month again. Yeesh. I'm going to have to get cracking, or else this lonely little post will be the only August post at all...
We've been up to our eyes in drywall. Removing it, replacing it, spackling it, sanding it, priming it, painting it. There are still a few spots that need touch-ups, and no trim molding, but it's so much better than it was that I'm willing to overlook that. There is also carpeting now in both bedroom and hallway, so we finally have our bedroom back! Just in time, too. The carpet came Wednesday, we painted last night, and Pat should be arriving Real Soon Now.
Working on a "home-repairs" Blog, but still trying to get past a few limitations of the system (most notably the inability to list entries singly, by a title rather than a date). I can probably kludge my way around it, but I do so hate to do that. It feels like a defeat.
