Spending it All in One Place

After looking through everyone's suggestions and weeding out the ones I already owned (Dear Husband has a copy of "Vertigo") or weren't available (for some reason that Del Amici album isn't on iTunes), I have downloaded my Major Award. And the winner is <drum roll...>

"You Don't Treat Me No Good," by Sonia Dada. I actually ended up getting the version from their Lay Down and Love It Live album, because, aside from being catchy as all hell, it has a really nifty little piano line.

For his winning suggestion, I will be buying TeacherRefPoet the beverage of his choice next time I see him. Thanks to all for your suggestions!

garden progress: Got a truckload of sod stripped out of the back garden.
house progress: Clean, clean, the kitchen is clean.
what's for dinner? Don't know about tonight, but a few nights ago we had a killer risotto, loosely based on the Alton Brown recipe.

I should've known that Joe would own "Vergigo" already. How cool is the twist in the chorus at the end (Where it goes from "You give me something I can feel" to "You're the one who taught me how to kneel" My lefty Catholic heart leaps everytime)

I think Joe owes me a beverage of my choice the next time I see him. It's like playing "dictionary" and getting a point when someone chooses your definition.

Oh, wait. Under that logic, I probably owe Joe a beverage of his choice...oops...

I LOVE winning things!

Does it have to be the next time you see me? I'll be swimming in drink offers that weekend. Can it be when I next get to Gambier next summer?

And is there any good port in Gambier?

I'm more than happy to swap rounds of drinks with anyone who sees the lefty Catholic imagery which I missed in a U2 song, Matt.

Most certainly, Paul, it can wait until your next Gambier visit. And Bobby is pretty proud of his selection of port at the Market, so there's that.
